The short version: Room Game Night is free to use for fun, at home, in class or at a party. It comes as it is, with no promises. Please keep it family-friendly, and don't try to break, overload or copy the site.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By using roomgamenight.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to the privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site. Children should use the Site with a parent, guardian or teacher, who accepts these terms on their behalf. Room Trivia has its own Terms of Use.

2. A free service, provided "as is"

The Site is offered free of charge. It is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We don't promise that the Site will always be available, error-free or secure. We may change, pause or remove any part of it at any time.

3. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Site's owner and anyone who helps run it are not liable for any damages of any kind arising from or related to your use of the Site, or your inability to use it. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential and punitive damages, even if we were told such damages were possible. Because the Site is free, if any liability can't be excluded, it is limited to zero dollars or the lowest amount the law allows.

4. Fair use

You may use the Site for personal, family, classroom, church, club and other community games. You agree not to attack, overload, probe or disrupt the Site or its server; use bots or scripts to copy its content; or use the Site for anything illegal. We may block visitors at any time, for any reason, without notice.

5. Printable cards and sheets

You may print and photocopy the Site's printable game cards and caller sheets for your own home, classroom, church, club or community games, and hand them out for free. You may not sell them, charge for them, or offer them for download anywhere else.

6. Ownership

The Site, including its game content, fun facts, text, design and software, is owned by its operator and protected by copyright. All rights reserved. Apart from the printing permission above, you may not copy, republish or sell any part of it without written permission. The Bricolage Grotesque typeface is used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Names of songs, foods, places and other things mentioned in game content are used only to identify them; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

7. Game content is for fun

We work to make every square and fun fact accurate and suitable for all ages, but mistakes happen. Game content is for entertainment only and is not professional, educational or religious advice. Holiday content describes each tradition in its own terms. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.

8. Links

We are not responsible for other websites we link to, or for their content or privacy practices.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the Site after a change, you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
